Our shop is loaded with some of the fastest and most accurate CNC, or Computer Numerical Control, milling machines that are available today. S&S has several 5 axis Makino horizontal machining centers with spindles that turn at 20,000RPM, hold tolerances as close as 0.00002 of an inch, and change tools in 0.9 seconds. These machines can work on parts 19.7 inches by 19.7 inches with blazing fast 2000 inches per minute of rapid travel and can hold as many as 60 tools each.
